CIRMAD protecting the integrity of Ako-Mbembe Forest Reserve with boundary signboards as community empowerment for chimpanzee conservation

CIRMAD has produced and is installing six (6) large signboards at strategic boundary points of the Ako-Mbembe Forest Reserve. The site is located in the Ako municipality in North-west Cameroon lies along the boundary Nigeria and is recognized as an “Important Priority Site” for the conservation of the endangered Nigeria-Cameroon chimpanzee.
