CIRMAD, a MINFOF Reforestation Grant beneficiary

CIRMAD is a grantee of the 2016 Reforestation Grant of 3,000,000 FCFA of the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife (MINFOF) for the planting of 3000 trees

Location:
Balikumbat village, Ngoketunjia Division, North West Region

Trees planted:
 Pygeum (Prunus Africana) = 1,180 trees
 Eucalyptus = 1,920 trees
Total = 3100 trees

Constraint & mitigation
Due to the non-disbursement of the 30% of fund, for land preparation, seed acquisition and planting, it is only this year 2017 we have done the tree planting, in spite of the delayed disbursement of the start-up sum.
